ARCHITECT
Simon currently works as a Senior Designer at Nelson Worldwide, a multi-disciplinary architectural design firm. Simon is also an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University’s Department of Architecture where he teaches design studio.
Professional Projects
Omni Tempe Hotel
A 16-story high hotel located in Tempe, AZ containing 330 guestrooms, a pool deck, a roof bar, & 15,000 sqft ballroom developed in collaboration with Arizona State University.
Soundwave
This upscale, modern water park’s design includes 111,000 SF of indoor water attractions, alongside a number of distinct programmatic spaces all distributed across three levels, all connected by a major circulation path. This project also included 106,000 SF of outdoor water park facilities.
Coral Island Resort
A caribbean, all-inclusive resort master plan and building designs. This project is to span the breadth of the island and host a variety of spaces for fun activities between its two distinct shore ecologies.
Urban Hotel
Situated in a metropolis’ downtown, this 17-story boutique hotel holds 325 keys, ground level public commerce, outdoor dining area, pool deck and 7,500 sqft of meeting/banquet spaces.
